About this tool
Passwords are created with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the same kind used for encryption keys, so they cannot be predicted.
Length matters more than complexity. A 16-character password with letters, numbers and symbols would take longer than the age of the universe to guess.
Use a different password for every account and keep them in a password manager.

Do you store generated passwords?
No. Passwords are created inside your browser and are never sent or saved.
What does avoid look-alikes do?
It removes characters that are easy to confuse, such as capital I, small l, the number 1, capital O and zero.
