About this tool
The 35 × 45 mm photo is used for passports and visas in India, the UK, the EU, Australia and many other countries. At 300 DPI, the standard print resolution, that is 413 × 531 pixels.
The tool crops your photo from the center to the passport shape, so frame your photo with your face in the middle. For a US passport, enter 600 × 600 pixels instead (2 × 2 inches).
Many online forms also limit file size, often 20KB to 200KB. After resizing, use the compress to 20KB or compress to 50KB tool.
